You know how it is -- the holidays. Have I mentioned that between December 18th and January 4th in our family we not only have Christmas Eve, Christmas, Hanukah, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, we also have our Anniversary and my husband's birthday all of which get heavily celebrated with flocks of people and food? Yes, indeed, I am making excuses, getting defensive even. But, all those icky feelings have prompted me to take a look at how to do it differently next year. I don't know yet, I don't have The Answer, I'm just aware of the the question. It's a start.
In the meantime, I am writing another article for Cape Healing Arts, this one on "The Yoga of Writing", for the Spring issue. So, it's getting me to sit down contemplate, gather together the volumes I've already written on the subject, write some more and finally read the gaggle of books I've been collected on the topic for some time now.
I'm also committed to getting the rest of the Dune Shack material up on this blog, it was after all the reason I started it, and returning to the bigger project I started working on in 2006. Sshh, I'm not saying more than that. Now, I just have to figure out how to get people here to read and then how to find their responses.
